Fallout Graffiti series

A mural about video game Fallout was the idea of my friend DEST in 2009. Eventually we ended up collaborating in this Fallout graffiti theme on many walls including Eindhoven, Boston and Toronto. The cool thing is that the video game is all about future, history and decay with a twist, which is what graffiti is all about as well. Decay creates a stage to perform from so we always adjusted the color and styles of the wall towards the general direction of the specific Fallout character.

Painting 5 Pointz in New York.

This wall was a moment I remember well. For 5 days in the late summer I spent the entire day on the rooftop of 5 Pointz in Queens. New York has always been the Mekka for graffiti and this location used to be the place to be for street and graffiti artists. The opportunity given by Meres one and his crew to repaint an entire production by myself was awesome. The piece is an improved remake of my "graffiti machine" that I painted in 2010 in Eindhoven. I transformed it into a vending machine with a keyboard that creates the piece trough robotic arms. A year after painting this piece it showed up in the set of hollywood blockbuster "Now You See Me". As of August 2014, 5 Pointz was in the process of being torn down. Rest in Piece 5 Pointz, we had a great time.
