Painting 5 Pointz in New York.
This wall was a moment I remember well. For 5 days in the late summer I spent the entire day on the rooftop of 5 Pointz in Queens. New York has always been the Mekka for graffiti and this location used to be the place to be for street and graffiti artists. The opportunity given by Meres one and his crew to repaint an entire production by myself was awesome. The piece is an improved remake of my "graffiti machine" that I painted in 2010 in Eindhoven. I transformed it into a vending machine with a keyboard that creates the piece trough robotic arms. A year after painting this piece it showed up in the set of hollywood blockbuster "Now You See Me". As of August 2014, 5 Pointz was in the process of being torn down. Rest in Piece 5 Pointz, we had a great time.
